I came to the US in 2006 from China where I grew up and fell in love with visual art and design. I went to West Virginia University and received my Master of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communication/Graphic Design in 2012. Afterwards, I moved to Pittsburgh and have stayed in this beautiful area ever since.
In my career experience, I’ve worked as a graphic designer at a packaging company for 6 years. Afterwards I worked at Fragomen Worldwide as a UX designer building immigration solutions helping foreign nationals, enterprise clients, and case workers to improve immigration experiences.
Currently I work at Dick’s Sporting Goods as a UX designer in eCommerce product selection team helping customers to learn the products quickly, shop with confidence and increase add to cart rate, conversion rate and decrease return. My work includes identify user's and stakeholder's needs, and prioritize new features; Lead projects including Low In Stock messaging, Notify When Back In Stock, Enhanced Product Detail Page Layout; Conduct competitive analysis and user research; Ideate work flow, coordinate design work shop, wireframing, prototyping and visual design concepts.
